Flying High

On my way to Sai Noi, I happened to see this magnificent play of light with patches of differing shades.  I captured the scene without much of a thought.  The significance of the photo only dawned on me when I looked at it again on my computer screen.

I was the lone bird who managed to be on his own flight back home.  Oblivious to the incoming darkness brought forth by dawn, its course through the skyline became a journey.

When we leave the comforts of our own home, it means a change of perspective and a need to become stronger.  Just like the bird, it has to rely on its own strength to complete its course.  Flying from one place to the next, seeking food to eat, finding a resting place, and nesting for a specific point of its life are all embodied in its existence.

So when we walk away, we have that determination to succeed and be our best.  For in our short journeys we learned, and with our long ones, a destination.

Wherever our feet bring us, may our aspiration be a catalyst for a better life.  It is a choice and the time is now.  Remember that life is not all swiftly gliding through, it will also be chaotic.  And if they become one, learn from it and embrace change.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Very wonderful words Sir! thank you so much for always inspiring us, your readers to be strong. I do have my fair shares of chaos and disappointments and I always try my best to learn from them. As I welcome the new year, a part of me feels excited, but somehow, a part of me feels scared too. I may be just overthinking and I know it's not good. If ever rough winds do come, I'll remember thy words Sir. Happy New Year as well Sir and cheers for the wonderful things ahead!

love lots,
Tin

The birds in the skies seem to adapt better to live in this world compared to many humans.... They would span their wings and look far & wide across to decide its landings for food and well being. Now just enjoy your stint in Thailand before moving on. The saying goes "when you come to the bridge, just cross it"....

Good luck to you and Happy New Year!

You know what Cristine, I also learn from bloggers like you, we are here together for a purpose and that is to support each other. May this 2017 be a good year for you and your family. Scary yes, but with prayers, you can do it. Always think that if others cam, you can as well.

Thanks for dropping your ipot in my home, can be used to deter other birds to drop theirs, territorial eh.

Always have the best words and you are one who could actually read my mind. I wrote this thinking I will be heading somewhere to land for good, unfortunately, it did not work. I will stay put and build myself a better perspective on how to lead my life in the future. Just like the bird, though they do not plan their flights as to where to land every night when they travel, they knew that they will be in a safe place for a rest.

Happy New Year Mr. TM!
