Moving out from the condo I used to live in, I found a small space where I could go back to one of my favourite things to do in life: gardening. The condo was a great place for sleeping, but the small four-squared room gave me anxiety all the time.  I longed for the vast garden I used to tend where snakes and squirrels abound. So finding my new oasis was simply a gift. 

A very close friend and colleague asked me what I do on weekends.  I took two photographs from my files and made a collage of them.  I showed it to her, and she was filled with praise. A short background: the one to the left is the garden centre I always visit, while the one on the right is the garden I started at home. 

A few people who saw the photos attested that the one I am currently building and constantly evolving was the best as it was more personal. It showed the character of the person who tends the place. It was a labour of love where his commitment to further make his place grand was obviously his goal. 

Life continues on even after all the storms.  What brings life to our core is when our faith is intact to let ourselves grow again.  In due time, the fruits of our labour will certainly materialize.  It's the key to living.
