Mae Fah Luang

The canopy upon the entrance of the garden allowing both light and breeze.

Situated up in the mountains known as Doi Tung, The Mae Fah Luang Garden was dedicated to the late mother of the late HM King Bhumibol of Thailand.  A majestic and well-known get-away for both locals and foreign tourists, this spectacular place is only open during the country's cooler season.

An intricate display of both hand woven products and nature's bounty of wood.

The first garden to welcome visitors.

There was always water to greet the visitors in whatever garden I visited.  It must be the yin and yang of things, of balance and of nature's interdependence with each other.

Photo worthy locations for instagram and FB.

The entire place was mostly rustic and bucolic in nature.  The flowers were luscious and brightly coloured that to walk and pass by without noticing was a crime.  It was always an opportunity for photos.

There was nothing to seek for the beauty was well-laden every where you gazed your eyes.  The composition of colours both bright and subtle reminds me of the need to balance our life.  Beautiful became an understatement.  It should be called, a place of sublimity.

Something worth reading inside the museum.

It was a worthy visit, albeit the travel hours and location.  When one is with nature, one becomes calmer and peaceful in spirit.

It was a happy travel.
