Exactly One Year

I left blogging exactly one year from now for some very important reasons.  I miss writing and sharing my thoughts but within the year, I still do some writings though posting them elsewhere. There were nothing much that changed except maybe my longings and expectations. And one thing I noticed was that I can no longer cry, just like before.

During the year, I had little getaways and most of my time was spent working.  However, I did not stop taking photos of the things I see.  Even in short trips, I managed to snapped some photographs that encapsulated my feelings of the place, and of mine, within the year. 

This rice field reminded me of harvest, of the fruitful dealings after some hard work.  The colour tones showed me the richness of nature and what bounty we still have around us.  Thus appreciating the diversity of colours and lines made me think of how my life as a teacher was often filled with challenges, and what I reap at the moment is the product of my own working. 

Heaven and earth were personified in this magnificent view. The vastness of the landscape spoke of the magnanimity of what the world can offer us.  The view gave me also a glimpse of how two worlds can meet, the blueness of the sky touching the richness of earth, that there could be possibilities and that there are defeats.  It also posed an important part of how we should live, and that is to reflect.  There should be a balance of earthly matters, a need to look upon life, and to find peace beyond our mundane existence.

These two photographs taken while riding a scooter were reminders of how fast we live our lives right now.  Though I was in motion, the camera was able to stop beauty for a moment for me to share and reflect how one year had passed. 

Life is still beautiful no matter what, we just need to keep on fighting.
