Be Our Own Self
There is a Thailand television programme that I fervently watch every week and if I actually missed it, then I resort to Youtube channels. The show is called I Can See Your Voice Thailand edition. The most interesting part is the group of contestants, seven all in all, who comes in as volunteers to be judged whether they could sing or not based on different criteria.
There are always surprises. The man who showed up dressed to the nines turned up to be a non-singer. A beautiful gal, so prim and proper, cannot carry a tune. A dishelved look or a stereotyped individual amazingly rendered the sweetest or most powerful voice. The contestants could completely fool the judges and the main guest. I, myself, am baffled by their appearances. Like the next photo, the female contestant is actually a male person. Who would have guessed?

Do you think she can sing? No, but she is indeed pretty.

Do you think he can sing? Yes, and in a female voice.
People have the tendency to make judgements as to what they see. It also comes as a first impression. This is good, but this is also mean. When I present myself to others, I wanted them to see me as someone kind and endearing. However, many had told me that I am snobbish and quiet.
We are all different. We radiate different vibes to different people. The thing we need to do is to be our own self. No pretenses, no layering, but one, true identity that speaks of our mind, our heart and our intention.

The dating apps I used to use on my phone is a validation of what you said, that we judge people by their looks and appearance.
We can both sit at a coffee shop and not talk and just look at people! HAHAHA. I miss you! This is one of those years I don't get to see you in Manila since we became friends!
