I lived in looking at myself as someone inferior when I am somehow capable of doing greater things in life.  A person came to say that I am beautiful and when I look at the mirror now, I see someone who could actually shine. 

I cry a lot and not because I am weak but because I feel better after shedding tears.  When one day I couldn't cry at home for three days knowing that I am hurting inside, a sad remark by one student made me burst into tears and all were shocked.  That morning, some friendly hugs were given and I became stronger. 

I am always a loner and thought that growing old is going to be me and only me.  Recently, I came upon a great person and would like the thought of having someone when I grow older.   To hold hands, to talk to each other or just to sit down at the beach looking at the coming and going of the waves.  This is life, not being alone, but being in sync with someone. 

I am not hopeful and I do not even plan.  However, if I want some of my dreams to be fulfilled then I should embrace in myself hope and faith.  An optimism that there will come a day when two souls will be one because of love and grace from God. 

Do away with negatives and welcome the positives.

Like the sun, we can always shine brighter.

Being unafraid to show our weaknesses, we become stronger.

Hoping for what is to come, and believing in its capacity to materialize.

And to have faith and hope, for things to fall in their right places.
