In one of the Christmas themed books I read in class, I asked the children this question, "What could be the gift of Santa for the stick children?" One of the boys in class answered, "Santa gave them seeds so that they can grow the seeds and there will be more sticks to be their friends."

I recently went back home for a few days to attend to some important matters. Matters that my high school friends arranged, planned and supported to help me out. We had some small group meetings as we are planning something ahead, a reunion sort of thing to celebrate four people who had and will have their
birthdays, a day filled with business in mind, and an overnight stay to
revitalize our senses and redefined friendship.
Santa gave us seeds many, many years ago. Those seeds were then planted, watered, taken cared of, and nourished through our lifetimes. The seed of goodness, to see within our hearts and others. The seed of appreciation, of what we have and what we have become. The seed of empathy, for those who are in need. The seed of honesty, to further understand each other's hearts and thoughts. The seed of patience, to go beyond idiosyncrasies and skip dramatic flairs. The seed of wisdom, to think beyond our age and foresee the future. And, the seed of love, to cherish each other till old age.
We took time to go together as one being silly, crazy, funny, serious, calm and proper. The hundreds of photos taken within those days will then become indelible marks of how friendship should be: tight with a dash of give and take.

The view from Punta Fuego will not be as spectacular without some company. |
 |
Trees that give opulence to the scenery are always breathtaking. |
 |
The rest of the afternoon was spent chasing sunset while sipping some drinks. |
 |
Our morning stroll at Canyon Cove was an abundance of selfies and groupies. |

Our marvellous brunch at Bag of Beans was a treat. |
So on my birthday, I am sending all my love to my bright and lovely friends
and to those reading this post, I love you as well and have a great day!

Thanks for the hugs and kisses. I know you are bright, it keeps on shining through, parang PAL.
Thanks for reading, and please share to your hubby. Safe travels!
Punta Fuego!!!!! :) It's skyrocketing charges justifies the comfort and relaxation they offer naman talaga!
When I was in Laiya last weekend, ang sarap pakinggan ng paghampas ng alon sa buhangin. So calming.
I hope you had a superduperlotsa blast on your Birthday and I pray that you have many more birthdays to come!
I am sorry that I have lost some FB wishes sent by you and others. I have replied them in my blog comments! I think my FB is jinxed la... 555555
Siyempre hindi ako ang nagbayad, hati hati kaming lahat. I do like the beach and hearing the waves also calm me down. Yun nga lang, we looked into the beach not to swim but to take hundreds of selfies and groupies. I deleted most of them, sobrang dami, ha,ha,ha!
Many more birthdays, tired na me, :)
I also replied from your post and then went back to FB and found it.
I celebrated my birthdays with my friends early January when I went back for a reunion as most of us are in Manila. I made this post as a birthday post as a celebration of friendship. And as I celebrate friendship, I wanted to show my appreciation as well to those who visit my blog including you. A lot had left the blogging world and I miss them. I do not bloghop much but I think I will, one day when I can left people go.
Glad it gave you some warmth. I always dread warm days and asking for colder ones but I guess we will never more than I could ask for. Greetings from Thailand and thanks for dropping by,
It would be better to find a comfortable temperature between two places.
Anyway the spring is coming soon. Have a great week! Greetings Miklos
ps
We have unusual name using in Hungary not the Engish form. E.g. Kovacs is my surname and Miklos is the first name :) I know it's little bit strange for other countries :)
Cheers
The weather in Asia is much better and when I travel elsewhere I do choose to go during the summer. I will be visiting Hungary in July so I will get to feel the summer weather there. The coldest I have been is 17 degrees celsius in France and it was already cold for me especially in the evening so I will be bringing warm clothings when I go to Europe.
Same with the Chinese, as my name is Tsai Deching and Tsai is my surname while Deching is my name. Have a great day!
Last summer was extremly hot for us. There were 2 or 3 longer and very hot periods between +38 - +45C degrees! It was horrible to everybody especially in the cities.
(As I heard in the weather forecasts this summer will be quite same.)
In the other hand my negative record is -33C degrees even in 1986 when I was soldier (non-professional soldier but obligatory service only)
Nice to know it that you're using same name forms :)
Cheers Miklos
That was tremendously cold, freezing I must say and beyond my body tolerance level. I will freeze to death and maybe hibernate, ha,ha,ha. And I am used to 38 to 42 and hopefully it is not going to be that bad when I visit Europe. My friends and I are aware of the weather that's why we will be bringing more comfy clothes and one jacket just in case.
And in our short chat, I am already learning a number of things about you and I am delighted. Nicde to have someone from Hungary.
All the best,
Jonathan
