Lights Galore at Bua Quan Temple
I am no professional photographer but I do love taking photos of things that fascinate and interest me. On my previous walk at a nearby temple, there was an ongoing fair to attract well wishers and Buddhist revelers to visit and pay homage as well as to offer monetary contribution to the temple. The money is being raised to further build more religious shrines and places of worship.
It was the lights that lined the entire street that attracted me to stop and walk inside. The sprawling area was beautifully lighted with gigantic displays of lighted art. Take a walk with me.

Hindi naman masyadong nakakasilaw sir Jo?hehe
Thank you. It was a very different experience too. Always with the old and traditional to something modern and flashy. Have a great day!
Shine bright like a diamond! I was bedazzled by the lights which enticed me to go in. All I can think of was, sayang sa kuryente, ha,ha,ha!
Yes, like a fairyland minus the fairies, ha,ha,ha. There were so many stalls selling food and other things. It was really a worthwhile visit. People were queueing to pray and offer, looking for food to eat, buying stuff and others. I got two hand puppets for my teaching and my favourite things to eat, cotton candy!
Happy new week!!
I have photos of them and would share still ones maybe next time. You could see how intricate they are. I probably should go on a less busy day to avoid the crowd. Happy a great week too!
I didn't actually see anybody who seems to be wealthy walking the grounds of the temple but I might be wrong. Most of them are ordinary and simple looking people but still gives a lot to the temple. It's the principle of karma as one believes that doing good things at present will merit a better life in their next. And with the number of people visiting, I guess getting back that money is easy. I also believe that there are many who willingly donate big amounts but are not temple goers/ light seekers who roam there at night. :)
Sana pinamigay na lang sa atin, ha,ha,ha!
I prefer these bright lights compared to fireworks.
love lots,

It will be romantic, ha,ha,ha. Kidding aside, there were so many couples walking, sitting down and eating, or just watching other people aside from those who actually went to visit the temple. And there were many people every night.
Thank you for the compliments. If ever I get myself a really good camera, will make better angles so I can capture better pictures. Yes, it is amazing to walk and eat at the same time.
Pwede na gamitin yung mga pictures mo sa isang feature article, naks!
