The Two Trees
"I can't. I am so tired and weary."
"Then take my hand, my friend. We can do this!"
Being single is probably a blessing for many because of the simplicity of living. One earns just for himself and one can party all night long without the worrying of someone waiting for your call or for you to get home.
Being in a relationship is another thing. While you can still spend your own money and party all night long, there is a certain limitation that you can allow yourself to do. It takes more of a conscious effort to think that there's someone waiting for you. Besides, you wanted to be with that special someone all the time.
Being married is another ball game. This time, your earnings are earmarked for your family. If you are the breadwinner, you try to work doubly hard to make your lives better. It is a life of responsibility and commitment, not just to nurture each other but to grow together as one.
So when I saw these trees during one of my hikes, I took a photograph and decided to make them a story. I thought of making a sad narration of life but I decided to make it different. It then became a dialogue between the two, only if they could talk.
Singlehood
In a Relationship
Happily Married

--Naniniwala ka ba sa destiny sir Jo? I know somewhere out there, may nakalaan para makasama natin when we grow old :)

Maswerte ang girl na iibig sa you. There will be no boring moments:)
Well, like I said in my recent post, when you are single you become too philosophical. Hahaha! Please don't take life too seriously or even singlehood or people might think you're in for celibacy.
But it's true. It's quite fun to be single. But when your friends are starting toget married wala ka na makaladkad sa mga trip mo.
Tulad ko... I am able to organize a summer road trip sa august kasi yung isa kong kaibigan single na ulit at yung isa eh magbabakasyon daw yung gf niya sa Pinas kaya maiiwan siya magisa dito sa italy. Otherwise, magisa sana ako sa biyahe.
Anyway, I think each phase of a man's life has a certain kind of happiness which you will enjoy. Singlehood is no less fun than being in a relationship, and it's never more fun than being married.
But I'm not really an expert in this field. Ask the trees.
It is true that I like (or love) someone but I guess I have to wait.
love lots,

Hindi ko alam, hindi naman Valentine's. I was just intrigued by the trees thus the dialogues. In a way, I have a message I wanted to share so puno ang ginawa kong spokestree, ha,ha,ha.
Tatanga tanga kasi.
Kidding aside I am happy and the dialogues are just subtle messages to people I know.
at makikita mo yan, kagaya ng paghihintay ni Fiel...
If I could be a tree then I can be stagnant for a certain period of time then happily growing its crown for spring or summer. Then basking in the sunlight of bright summer days while soaking my roots into the onset of rain. Then my life is simple, uncomplicated.
But I am a person, who longs for companionship, for friendship and for love. It will come but for now, I long for friends to be with me just like in your lakwatsa or road trips. If only I could turn back time...
Not bragging about it but I thank God for putting me on the 3rd caption :)
long time no hear, Sir. I'm sorry. Last week ko lang nabasa ang huling message mo sa blog ko...kasi hindi na ako nakakapag-update ng blog. Di ko na-oopen ang blogger account ko. Napokus na ako sa ibang work. Lumipat na din sa ibang environment. I don't think, makapgpapatuloy pa ako sa blogging world as of now. Only God knows. Anyway, thank you so much for the concern. I'm wishing you all the best journeys (in life) you could possibly have. Ingat lagi!God bless!
